PastPlaces is a major global resource for finding or listing information, memories, images, film & video of places, friends, family, communities, towns, cities, old houses, streets, neighbours and events. There are literally millions of old photographs sitting in albums, draws and attics around the world. Until now, these images have been seen by only a few. Memories of historic events, friends, homes, streets, towns, and cities, long lost family and neighbours. Places and events that you may have witnessed but did not photograph - others might have. You can use PastPlaces To: Find old friends, conduct family tree research, list or locate information on towns, and villages. You can also use PastPlaces for genealogy or, history research.

PASTPLACES BASIC MEMBERSHIP - LISTINGS ARE FREE
Free Basic Member can list as many places, memories or people as they like with images. You leave your past places listings or peoples names on the Pastplaces system and wait to receive messages or emails from other members. If you have elected to receive e-mail notifications of messages, then you will get an e-mail letting you know that you have a new message on the PastPlaces system. Alternatively, you will have to log on to pastplaces from time to time to check for any new messages. To read fully detailed messages from other members about your places you will need to upgrade to a PastPlaces Full Membership. If you have not already done so, why not add some of your pastplaces to the system.
