My name is Roger Neil Turner (Nickname "Apple") I attended Vaucluse Boys High School twice during the late 60's, early 70's. I would be interested to hear from anyone who remembers me and would be interested in obtaining some recent images of the school, as I understand that it is going to be demolished and I cannot find any reasonably quality images of the school on the internet. Just looking into the old school motto for Vaucluse "Light of Knowledge/Learning" in the Latin form, and came across your webpage. I attended VBHS from 1973 -1979. I was very sad to hear that it was to be closed, and now it appears, demolished. I can tell you that there are numerous items that I would have liked to keep and save.
Were you an exchange student, or moved to the UK?
