Interested In The Period From 1973 To 1973.
My mum (Ann Campbell, small readhead from Glasgow) worked as a waitress at the Tower Holiday camp from July 1973, she met my dad (Frank Boyd, black hair with a moustache (yak!))who was a waiter. They got married in a church in Prestatyn in the September 1973 (6 weeks after meeting). They would love to hear from anyone who remembers them. | i don't know if you anybody has told you but, the tower beach caravan park closed down many moons ago. i was speaking to a friend of mine about it who is in his lte twentys and he only remembers it as waste land. In about 2003 barrart the house building company bought the land have only just about finished building the houses they recon to have built around 250 houses on the land. I was loing on the net to see if there were any photographs of the caravan park to see what it looked like out of interest. |
