Interested In The Period From 1970 To 1971.
Attended this school as a student in the early 1970,s. I remember a large quadrangle with buildings on three sides - they were constructing new buildings on the fourth side when I left the school to move back to Sydney. I would be interested to know if it is still a school as I have not been able to find any information on the internet. Contact: roger@pastplaces.com

Was this high school in Lysaght Street, Fairy Meadow?...If so, it is now known as Keira Technology High School and is no longer boys only, just as Smith's Hill is no longer just for girls, but is now a selective co-ed school. Keira Technolgy High School has a website which includes pictures. Here is the website address: http://www.keira-h.schools.nsw.edu.au/
I hope I have set you on the right track. Sue

I attended KBHS during the sixties. The Whyndom Scheme was introduced which meant boys who had completed the Leaving Certificate at the age of 17 now completed the HSC at 18. Many of us got our drivers licience, "P"'s
and bought cheap second hand cars and drove to school.
Senior students were given quite a few priviledges including freedom to leave the school at lunchtime - yes
the waves were good at the beach the day I drove down for a quick swim.
