looking for infomation on the Yelland family. John yelland who was listed as living here when he died was my great great grandfather, i know he was a police man at some point but there does not seem to be any record of his wife Betsy Bailey. I would also like to know about his children, there were seven i believe at last count, the eldest Elizabeth Jane Yelland married my Great Grand father Charles Henry Gilbert who was from Sussex. Iwould appriciate any information-I can tell you about Elizabeths children - she had nine- one of which married a canadian man in the forces and i have a family tree of these also.
