Interested In The Period From 1900 To 1968.
I Lived here from aboutu 1933 until 1945 when I joined the army. George Dewfall my grandfather lived here until 1968 when he came to live with us at Southampton. He was a signalman on the Somerset & Dorset Jount Railway at Highbridge. My father lived at Burnham until 1945 when he died. He served with the Post Office Rifles in France during WW1 until he was wounded and was invalided home to to Burnham where he returned to work at the Post Office.
