I lived there from by birth until 4 years of age. I know it was an old cottage, very cold with no mod cons. The toilet was a 'shed' in the orchard. There was only a cold water tap in the scullery and had an old tin bath. There used to be a barn at the side. The cottage is opposite The Three Horseshoes pub. It (Ivy Cottage) has been modernised over the years as I have seen when visiting the pub over the road and has lost its original looks. I would love to know what it's like on the inside now!
