Liberty Of London's SS09 menswear collection uses Victorian botanical prints, birds of prey, Tana Lawn florals and plump spiky seed pods in blizzards of fuchsia, lime, lemon, pink and mint. Hand embroidered Swarovski cystal bugs adorn limited edition black and white shirts and a peep show of prints peek through inner collars and cuffs.
Limited edition birds of prey in Swarovski jewels festoon ottoman silk ties and sterling silver cufflinks are cast into sinister hawks.
For Spring Summer 2009, Creative Director Tamara Salman is in a playful mood and celebrates the dark romance of vintage inspired prints and silhouettes. A riotous palette of colour and print drives this collection with ready-to-wear, handbags, scarves, jewellery and swimwear playing host to a melange of exclusive prints created by the London design studio.
Constructed in duchess satin in vibrant colours or silk sating, silk chiffon and silk cotton, the dress takes centre stage in the SS09 ready to wear collection.
